Community Alarm or Lifeline Services available nationally
If you are worried about falling and have no means to summon help, you could contact your local authority and ask for information about personal alert buttons. These buttons are designed to help people to remain living in their own homes independently by giving help at the touch of a button.
Alternatively, there are also national options available if you refer. These community alarms provide 24hr support if you have a fall or need emergency assistance.
All of the following national community alarm providers can contact family or emergency services if you have a fall.
Please note that these alarms require a working landline and power supply and a small weekly or monthly charge will apply. The community alarm units can either be self-installed or installed by an engineer (see individual providers for full details).
