Organisations who provide computer and IT support for those with a visual impairment

Angus Council/ Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have an agreement with North East Sensory Services (NESS) to provide a range of support for people with visual impairments, including advice on specialist computers. They are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm and can be contacted by using the information below.

Alternatively, First Contact Occupational Therapy provide free and impartial advice about a wide range of assistive equipment and can refer you for further assessment. If you'd like to get in touch, please use the following details.

Alternatively, staff at the Glenloch Centre based at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre, Forfar may be able to provide advice on specialist computer solutions. You may also be able to trial different accessories for your computer as well as different software packages before purchasing these yourself privately.
