Organisations that help the visually impaired

Angus Council/ Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have an agreement with North East Sensory Services (NESS) to provide a range of support for adults with visual impairments to help with outdoor mobility and orientation, low vision aids, specialist lighting, IT hardware and software packages.

They will also advise you of travel concessions for those who are registered blind and/or partially sighted.

They can also direct you to local voluntary services, including those which can provide grant funding for those on low incomes, as well as advise of local "Talking Newspapers" services.

They are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm and can be contacted by using the information below.
