You could still be a carer even if you are only helping or visiting someone
Although you are no longer caring directly for the person, whether they have gone into hospital, a hospice or care home, you may still be involved e.g. going to visit them or helping out with important things that need doing. If this is the case, you are still a carer and able to access information, advice and support.
To explore what options may be available to you, contact Angus Carers Centre on 01241 439157, or visit www.anguscarers.co.uk. For general information about life after caring, visit www.carersuk.org/help-and-advice/practical-support/when-caring-ends/life-after-caring.
